At Michelle Editions, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights when purchasing products from our online store.
1. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer purchasing from Michelle Editions online, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without providing a reason.
The 14-day period begins on the day you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at michelleeditions@outlook.com within the 14-day period, clearly stating your decision to withdraw and providing your
order number.
2. Returning Your Order
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which you communicated your decision to withdraw.
The direct cost of returning the goods is the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated by Michelle Editions or where applicable law requires otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked delivery service when returning an order. Michelle Editions cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged during a return shipment arranged by the customer.
3. Condition of Returned Products
You may handle and inspect the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, as you would reasonably be permitted to do in a physical shop.
If the product is handled beyond what is necessary for such inspection, you may be responsible for any resulting diminution in value.
Where possible, products should be returned with their original packaging, tags and accompanying materials.
A product does not lose its statutory right of withdrawal merely because its packaging has been opened, provided the applicable legal requirements are otherwise satisfied.
4. Refunds
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Michelle Editions does not cover return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise required by applicable law.
Any additional cost resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.
The refund will be issued without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the day on which Michelle Editions is informed of your decision to withdraw.
However, Michelle Editions may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed with you.

5. Return Inspection
Returned products will be inspected upon receipt.
Where a product has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, Michelle Editions reserves the right to seek compensation for any diminution in value to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.
6. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are made to order or clearly personalised, where the applicable legal requirements for this exception are met.
A product being a limited edition does not, by itself, remove the customer’s statutory right of withdrawal.
Any product to which a statutory exception applies will be clearly identified before purchase.
7. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, please contact us at: michelleeditions@outlook.com
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photographs of the product and packaging where appropriate
Defective or non-conforming products are covered by the applicable legal guarantee of conformity and are subject to the rights and remedies provided by Italian and European consumer law.
The legal guarantee is separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.
8. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Our products are made from delicate materials and should be handled and cared for according to the care instructions provided.
The mandatory legal guarantee of conformity applies as required by Italian and European law.
The guarantee does not cover damage caused by improper use, incorrect washing or care, accidents, stains, tears, snagging, or normal wear and tear.
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect or does not conform to your order, please contact us at michelleeditions@outlook.com with your order number and photographs of the item.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Exchanges
Michelle Editions does not offer direct product exchanges as a standard procedure.
If you wish to purchase a different product, you may exercise your statutory right of withdrawal where applicable and place a new order separately.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products.
10. International Returns
For orders shipped outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for complying with applicable return-shipping and customs requirements.
Customs duties, import taxes and other charges paid in connection with the original shipment may not be refundable by Michelle Editions.
Where applicable, the customer is responsible for any customs or import charges associated with returning the goods.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights applicable to the purchase.
